Assets Management
In simple words
Kitchen projects create many files: drawings, 3D views, specification sheets and approved designs. Assets Management keeps these files inside the Console, attached to the customer they belong to, instead of in one person's email or laptop.
The problem it solves
When files are kept in email and personal folders, the company does not really own its own project records. Two people work on different versions of a drawing, the approved design cannot be found during a dispute, and everything is lost when an employee leaves.
What happens without it
| If you do not have Assets Management | What it means for your business |
|---|---|
| Files are in personal inboxes and laptops | 10–15 minutes of searching for every document request |
| No single latest version | Kitchens are made from an old drawing, and you pay for the rework |
| Approvals are kept in email | Disputes cannot be settled, so you accept the loss to keep the customer |
| Files leave with the employee | Project work stops during leave or after resignation |
| No customer-wise structure | Support cannot answer a document question without the executive |
| Every executive keeps their own copies | The same templates are prepared again and again |
Time you save
| Task | The manual way | With Assets Management | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Find a customer's latest drawing | Search email, ask the designer, wait — 10–15 min | Open the customer's files — under 1 min | 10–14 min per request |
| Handle a colleague's customer during leave | Ask them to forward files, or wait for them to return | Files are already on the customer record | Hours or days of delay removed |
| Settle a dispute about the design | Argue from memory | Show the approved document | Rework cost avoided |
| Share common documents | Email the file every time it is asked for | One shared library | Minutes per request |
| Train a new designer | Explain where every file is kept | A clear folder structure | Days of learning time |
| Send a document the customer lost | Search sent items — 10 min | Download it from the customer record | 10 min per request |
Your process, before and after
The project record is whatever the executive happened to save. The company depends on individuals being available.
The file is attached to the customer as soon as it is made. Anyone with access can find the latest version, and the record stays with the company.

- Marketing and admin — maintain common company files
When to use it
- Whenever a drawing, plan or approved document is made for a customer
