Catalog Management
In simple words
Catalog Management lets your own team control what you sell and at what price, on your website and in quotes. You can add products, change prices, create categories and set the available options, without any coding and without waiting for a developer.
The problem it solves
If every product or price change needs a developer, your catalogue is always out of date. You sell at last month's prices, you show items you can no longer supply, and you lose orders because a size or finish is missing.
What happens without it
| If you do not have Catalog Management | What it means for your business |
|---|---|
| Price changes need a developer | You sell at the wrong price for several days each time |
| New products are added by raising a ticket | New ranges go live weeks late, and the season is missed |
| Prices are updated one item at a time | A supplier increase on 500 items takes 8–10 hours of typing |
| No custom option templates | Customers order combinations that cannot be manufactured |
| No attributes or attribute groups | Customers cannot filter and compare, so they do not find what they want |
| Categories are fixed in the code | Your team cannot rearrange the website for a season or an offer |
| Discontinued items stay live | You accept orders for items you cannot supply, then cancel them |
Time you save
| Task | The manual way | With Catalog Management | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supplier price increase on 500 items | Edit each item, or ask a developer — 8–10 hours plus a release | Bulk update by CSV — 15–30 min | 8+ hours each time |
| Launch a new product range | Raise a ticket and wait for a release — 1–3 weeks | Create the products and assign categories — same day | Weeks per launch |
| Add a new size or finish option | Developer change, testing and release | Edit the custom option template — a few minutes | Days per change |
| Rearrange the website for an offer | Design and development work | Edit the category tree — under an hour | Days per campaign |
| Stop wrong configurations | Find the mistake after the order and redo it | Templates allow only valid combinations | Rework and factory rejections avoided |
| Keep product specifications uniform | Type specifications again for each product | Attributes and attribute groups | Minutes per product, and working filters on site |
Your process, before and after
Your merchandising team raises a ticket, the development team plans it, and the change goes live in the next release. Your catalogue is always behind your business.
The people responsible for pricing and products make the changes themselves. There is no waiting, so the change takes minutes instead of days.
